Viburnum trilobum 'Wentworth' - Wentworth Cranberry viburnum

Cranberry viburnum is named for it's large red 'Cranberry' like friut. It is easy to identify by it's three lobed leaf structure. Leaves are a rich medium green.

This native plant produces a very heavy berry set once used in preserves. The fruit is especially appreciated by birds.

A great plant for a naturalizing this shrub produces food and cover for wildlife. Good for borders, informal hedges and screens as well as winter interest if the fruit persists.

Wentworth is an improved cultivar of trilobum which is has better Fall color and heavier fruiting. Otherwise similar in habit and growth.

Fall color is crimson
